I was born in the aboriginal village. There are nine people in my family. Father was a fish man. He has past away eighteen years ago. Mom is still alive. She is living with my older brother who is not able to work. I am the only one still remain single from my family. So I have responsibility to look after my mom with financial support.
I used to be a missionary. And I worked with foreigners for fourteen years. Because of needing translating, I was sent to Canada to learn English for 8 months. In order to get familiar with other accent. I also went to different countries. I have been
Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines. All these experiences helped me become very independent and have confident to communicate with foreigners.
I have been teaching English for almost one year. Also have some one-by-one students. In order to continue applying my English, so I would like to get more chance to use it. Speaking English every day will help me not losing my ability of interpreting. I believe the job I am applying will be the best opportunity for me keeping using English. Beside I am very capable of serving the visitors when they are needed. That’s the work I use to do. And I enjoy it very much. Serving others is my purpose of life. For I will have joy in my heart through serving, as well as teaching English. |
